In world history famous Indian swimmer 

"AARTI SAHA"crossed the english channel. she was first Asian woman who has completed this challenging task .She was awarded by "Padam shree award" by Indian government. we are remembering her today on her 80 th birthday. she was born in calcutta new name kolkata.Big thing of saha's was she crossed the english channel by the help of compass niddle .

we are proud on you Saha.




Indian government also had released "STAMP" to remember Aarti Saha.
Today google also remembering her on doogle.
